46-Year-Old Corey Brown Dies After Stabbing in Far North Dallas, Police Investigating

DALLAS, Texas - A 46-year-old man died after being stabbed Friday night in Far North Dallas, and police say the suspect is someone known to the victim.

The Dallas Police Department identified the victim as Corey Brown, 46, who was stabbed Oct. 9, 2026, in the 8500 block of Midpark Road.

Officers responded to the location at approximately 8:15 p.m. following a call for service.

According to the preliminary investigation, Brown had been stabbed by a person known to him. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Brown to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Police Investigating Circumstances of Fatal Stabbing

Dallas police have not released the suspect's identity or disclosed the relationship between Brown and the person suspected of stabbing him.

Investigators have also not provided details about what led to the confrontation or whether a weapon was recovered at the scene.

The department said the motive and circumstances surrounding the fatal stabbing remain under investigation.

No arrest information was included in the police department's initial report.
