Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Under Construction in Irving

The installation of 10 Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations at city facilities is underway. Construction of two charging stations has begun at West Irving Library, and will be followed by the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas and City Hall, each receiving four Level 2 charging stations. They will be available for public use by the end of May.

Irving was selected by ECOtality North America as one of the recipients of the Level 2 charging stations being installed across six states.

The stations are being funded by a U.S. Department of Energy grant.
